The Credit Risk Business Analyst will join a team focused on new projects required to support credit management of new business areas and enhanced measurement techniques for existing business areas. This includes responsibility for the Credit role in the New Product Approval process, governance of the prioritisation process and business analysis, primarily at the feasibility or pre-inception stage of proposed projects. Main function of the role: • Driving new projects at pre-inception stage, ensuring high level requirements are gathered and documented sufficiently to support a business case for project prioritisation. • Performing analysis of requirements, running workshops with key stakeholders for new business initiatives in the Sales and Trading areas across all asset classes. • Liaise closely with Risk IT to ensure resource requirements are sufficiently estimated transferred to the IT Programme Management function when appropriate. Must have skills: • Full business analysis development life cycle experience, with proven delivery record, preferably in a Credit Risk environment. • Relevant experience of credit risk management, reporting and control systems. • Knowledge of credit risk management techniques and methodologies. Please note, Credit Risk business acumen and strong business analysis skills gained within a capital markets context are all prerequisites for this role.
