As our business and asset are growing, we are looking for an Execution Trader to support the firm’s needs. The position provides excellent exposure to all aspects of the company’s operation and it is a rare opening for the candidate seeking fresh challenges within the asset management industry.

Execution trader

• Execute and book trades in trade capture systems, with the goal of achieving best execution from brokers
• Price up positions
• Perform currency hedging
• Monitor exposures / portfolio
• Review and recommend IPOs / placements
• Produce and analyze P&L for the Portfolio Manager
• Confirm execution details of exchange-traded stocks, futures and options
• Verify trade details and obtaining signatory approval for OTC products including Swaps and Foreign Exchange
• Work with brokers on trades, including resolving trade queries and failing trades
• Liaise with Fund Administrator on the resolution of breaks and pricing issues
• Reconcile cash and all open positions
• OTC Derivative work flow processing including trade confirmations, resets, unwinds and settlements
• Developing reports on an ad hoc basis
• Monitor and update daily risk sheet with live Options delta calculations

Requirements:

• Sound understanding of common financial instruments across all asset classes
• At least 3 years experience in a trading environment (institutional trading desk at banks or fund management firms). FX and Fixed Income background is desirable.
• Bloomberg expertise
• Self-starter with ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Broad interest in all markets and asset classes
