Our client, a leading consultancy based in London, requires senior consultants with experience within risk management i.e operational risk, market risk or credit risk. The individuals will have a track record within a large consulting firm, coupled with experience of working within financial services or asset management. Individuals with a regulatory background will also be considered.

On a daily basis the senior consultant will be co ordinating and managing multiple project streams, both with a defined programme of work or across a variety of stakeholders/owners.

In addition the individuals will have strong business analysis skills, including preparation and presentations, and strong accounting and financial valuation skills related to risk management and pricing (e.g. regulatory, economic capital, economic value added (EVA), risk adjusted pricing, asset - liability management), operational risk. Computational programming, mathematical and statistical skills are important, as is knowledge of financial instruments - structured credit, equity/fixed income derivatives etc. Emphasis on understanding cash flows from these instruments/structures, and usage of quantitative techniques is critical.
