Job Description

The Candidates responsibilities include:

• Developing key components of the Portfolio Trading Order Management System
• Comprehending complex functional requirements.
• Translating functional requirements into technical specifications.
• Creating software components as specified.
• Performing unit tests of software components.
• Documenting technical specifications.
• Participating in the SDLC

Required Skills:

• Strong Core Java Experience is a must!!!
• 3+ year experience with multi-threading high performance, multi-tier trading systems.
• Experience with Messaging (such as Tibrv, EMS or MQ)
• FIX Protocol Experience is required
• Proven experience with Linux or Unix based operating system
• Working knowledge of database – Sybase, Sql, Oracle

Architecture

• 3+ year experience in systems utilizing 3 tier architecture
• Experience with systems requiring concurrency.
• Usage of industry standard middleware and messaging software.

Object Oriented Design Skills

• Proven track record of utilizing UML design tools.
• Ability to articulate design concepts.
• Solid understanding of design patterns
• Solid understanding of OO concepts
