Our client is one of the UK's leading stockbrokers.  They are now looking to add a Trainee Technology Equity Research Associate to their team.     

The position is a ''Sell side'' research analyst, focused on companies such as Ericsson, BT, Oracle, Microsoft.  You will work closely with experienced analysts and generate investment ideas for your asset management and institutional client base. The role will involve the analysis of companies, markets and sectors; financial modelling and valuations; company and client visits. 

The person

We are interested in meeting people who will have a background of one of the following:

- equity research analysts - 

- investment bankers looking to make a move into equity research

- business analysts from tech companies

- excellent financial modelling skills 

- great communication ability

- please note that technology experience is useful, but not essential for this role
